batt + lear house
Judkins Park, Seattle, WA
Fall 2008
Holly and Jason saw potential in this 100 year-old "tear-down" in the Judkins Park neighborhood. Instead of tearing it down, they
preserved the structure and original interior and exterior architectural features, and lifted it to add a full-height basement. They added a slight intervention in the main floor plan, and converted the house from a 2 bedroom/1 bath, into a 4 bedroom/2 bath with living spaces that connect to the backyard on both levels.
