Green Roof House
Wallingford, Seattle, WA

A growing family wants to stay in this house, so they look to go up. To preserve the neighbors' view and natural light, they want to expand all up front. We design an efficient, fitting floor plan to minimize the addition footprint, which results in the opportunity to spread an ample green roof space over the back half of the existing house, where the neighbors will gaze day in and day out. We marry existing craftsman character of the house with new contemporary, yet ageless, house's form.
